Habitat Manual- II is a part of my ongoing Project Habit/ At ; which deals with my responses to the ‘making’ of garbage in the everyday life. As an artist-inhabitant, I am intrigued by the quantity of consumption and consequent littering of objects by human habitation in the environment. This has impacted my art process itself, where 'piling up' (of garbage) takes the artistic route of superimposition of forms. Within the format of the folded book, the forms of the used and discarded objects, get a scope for a visual continuity; which also defines its current ecological predicament.
